Welcome to The Bus Stop Barbershop. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at busstopbarbershop.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We are The Bus Stop Barbershop, located at 1222 Harrison Street, Building 4, San Francisco, CA 94103. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to The Bus Stop Barbershop. "You" and "your" refer to you as the user of the Site.
Who Can Use the Site
The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these Terms with you.
The Site is not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations such as HIPAA, GLBA, or FISMA. If your use of the Site would subject us to those regulations, please do not use the Site for that purpose.
What the Site Is
The Site provides information about our barber shop, our services, our team, and how to book an appointment. Appointment booking is handled through our booking partner Squire, which has its own terms of service and privacy policy that apply when you book with them.
Booking and Appointments
When you book an appointment, you agree to the terms and cancellation policy of our booking provider Squire. Please arrive on time. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations so we can offer the slot to another client. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions.
Prices shown on the Site are starting prices. Final pricing depends on service length, complexity, and your barber. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time; the price you pay is the price shown at the time of your appointment.
Intellectual Property
The Site, including all text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is our property or is licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site content without our written permission. You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use.
The Bus Stop Barbershop name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.
Reviews and Comments
We use a third-party widget to display reviews from Google and Yelp. Those reviews are the property and responsibility of the platforms and reviewers who created them. We do not verify the accuracy of individual reviews and are not responsible for their content.
If you post a review of us anywhere, we ask that it be truthful and based on your actual experience. We may respond to reviews publicly.
Third-Party Services
The Site links to and integrates with third-party services, including Squire (booking), Google (analytics, maps, and tag management), Elfsight (review widget), Instagram (embedded feed), and Cookiebot (cookie consent). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in those policies.
The Site is hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to and processing in the United States.
Prohibited Uses

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any related accounts.
Interfere with the operation of the Site, including through viruses, malware, or automated tools.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BUS STOP BARBERSHOP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold The Bus Stop Barbershop harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, we ask that you first contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally. We will make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute within 60 days.
Arbitration
If informal resolution does not work, most disputes between you and us will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, not in court. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, available at adr.org. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, or another location mutually agreed by the parties, or by phone or video conference.
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing us at [email protected] with "Arbitration Opt-Out" in the subject line and your name and contact information in the body.
Exceptions
The following disputes are not subject to arbitration: (a) small claims court disputes; (b) disputes about intellectual property rights; and (c) claims for injunctive relief.
Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and we agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis and not through a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
California Residents
