We're at 1222 Harrison Street, Building 4, in the L Seven complex in SoMa. It is located on the inner perimeter which you can access from public sidewalks. Roughly a ten minute walk from Moscone Center and SFMOMA.

Do you take walk-ins?

When there's an open chair, yes. Booking online through Squire is the best way to get the barber and time you want.

How far in advance should I book?

For weekday mornings and midday slots, a few days is usually enough. Saturday afternoons fill up first, so book earlier in the week if you need a specific barber. Same-day or next-day appointments may be available.

Open Tuesday through Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday until 8 PM, the rest until 6 PM. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Do you shave with a straight razor?

Yes, our barbers can use a straight razor to provide razor-sharp beard lines.

Do you cut kids' hair?

Yes, ages four and up. Be sure to select a Kid's Cut when booking.

Street parking is available on Harrison and the side streets, metered until 6 PM on weekdays. Free street parking is available around the L Seven complex and on some adjacent streets. The 8th and 9th Street garages are the closest paid options.

How much is a haircut at The Bus Stop Barbershop?

A Shop that Started Outside

The Bus Stop Barbershop got its start in the SoMa StrEat Food Park during the 2020 shutdowns, when Tim set up chairs under the open sky and cut hair for anyone who needed one. We were covered by SFGate, the Chronicle, 7x7, and Secret San Francisco, then moved indoors to Harrison Street where you can find us today.
