The Bus Stop Barbershop is just one of many awesome attractions.

District Six, previously known as the SoMa StrEat Food Park, has really leaned in to pandemic life.

Where some might find inconvenience, frustration, and worry, District Six has found innovative solutions. They transformed this large outdoor space into a community gym, food truck park, beer and wine garden, live entertainment venue, and of course, outdoor barbershop.

The Bus Stop Barbershop has seven talented barbers ready to give you a fresh undercut, fade, pompadour, trim, or really whatever you desire. Plan your next haircut at this awesome spot in SoMa, “where safety is as important as your style.”

All clients and barbers are appropriately masked up, and the outdoor venue is complete with comfy chairs, heat lamps, TVs, restrooms, and free WiFi.

While you’re at it, be sure to try out some of the amazing gourmet food options available from local food trucks, including crispy tacos, fresh empanadas, tasty poke, creative cocktails, and much more. They rotate weekly and are sure to keep you satisfied while enjoying some live music, stand-up comedy, or a drag show.

The District Six outdoor training center, known as Social Fit Club, is also worth a visit if you’re looking for a community-minded gym experience out in the fresh air. All participants are socially distanced on their own separate fitness bubbles.

Make an appointment for a haircut and visit the Bus Shop Barbershop, plus the rest of District Six’s amenities, at 428 11th Street in San Francisco.
